At CPCC, we specialize in the treatment of speech and language disorders for toddlers and school aged children. It is our sincere desire to provide you and your family a service that is focused on results, in a comfortable, non-threatening atmosphere. We have tailored our "home" office accordingly, so that the children will feel like they are playing in their own family room. Our individual and group treatment rooms are without desks and computers to achieve the most conducive environment for success. We also recognize the parents as an essential part of the development process and we warmly welcome them as a part of our team. Individual treatment sessions are video-taped regularly so that both the parents and the clinician can share techniques in order to enhance the child's communication. We have acquired a staff that rivals the industry's best, and they possess the skills and experience necessary that will leave our parents feeling confident in our ability to treat their child.
The Como Pediatric Communication Center is privately owned and operated by Craig and Laurie Como. Laurie has 18 years experience in the field, and is well respected in the community for her commitment to helping children with speech/language disorders. Our philosophy on treatment revolves around meeting functional goals while providing the most unique environment in speech therapy today.
